Photo Categories

Training

Training is all about practicing the basics and building our skills over time. This category is perfect for photos that show us working on various techniques like kicks, punches, kata forms, and other drills. Whether we're just starting out or have been doing karate for years, it's fun to show our progress. It's cool to look back at where we began and see how far we've come. We also like photos showing us warming up, working with a classmate or friend, or just practicing at home. It's not about being perfect, it's about giving it our best and feeling proud of what we've accomplished.

Sparring

Sparring is where we put what we practice to the test. This category is for photos showing students in friendly matches, using quick movements or techniques and applying what we've learned in real life situations. It's fast paced and exciting to watch. Sparring shows what we've actually learned and it's where you can see how much we've improved.

Belt Exams

Belt exams are a big deal. These pictures show students during testing, getting their new belts, or just showing off their new belt or certificate at the end. These are the moments where all of the hard work and training pays off. Everyone remembers their belt exams, and this is a great way to celebrate those memories and milestones. It doesn't matter what belt you're testing for, you should feel proud of yourself with how far you've come.

Tournament

Tournaments are where we get to compete with other students and see how our skills stack up. This category is for tournament pictures, showing us competing, getting medals, or just having fun at the event. It's a fun way to show off how much effort we've put in and the excitement of being part of a competition. Win or lose, just being out there and doing your best is what really matters.

Dojo Life

Dojo life is all the fun stuff that happens outside of regular training. This category is for group events, celebrations, team building activities, or just hanging out with other students and instructors. It helps show that karate is not just about training, it's also about friendship, support, and being part of a community. This section is for the fun moments like parties, group pictures, funny stuff that happened, or just hanging out at the dojo. These are the kinds of memories that show karate is more than just training and remind us of the friendships we've made along the way.

Other

This section is for anything that doesn't really fit into the other categories. It could be a random moment, something funny, or just a neat photo you wanted to share. If it's part of your karate journey and you think it's worth showing, it belongs here. Sometimes it's the random moments that stick with us the most.
